Well, for years Kes was one of my favourite movies, it’s been at least 20 years since i last saw it, it’s now on Amazon Prime so thought i’d watch it purely for the nostalgia, christ, dunno what i thought was good about it but i got bored of it after about 30 minutes and switched it off, any of you guys watched something back you though was great at the time only to find it’s absolute drivel?

its a great film and always worth a watch, tells how it was back in those times real people you can easily believe in unlike the glamour and action movies we see far to often today!!!

Salem's Lot with David Soul. I was so so scared of that when it came out.

If you like it and want to remember it that way please don't watch it again. It's melodrama at its worst, the acting is appalling and the scares non existant. Sorry to kill people's memories.

Weird Science. Loved it when I first watched it, not so much when I watched it again recently. I was a teenager when I first watched it though

The Goonies was my enjoyable film as a kid. I saw it about 18 months ago and thought, what a crock of rubbish...

Agreed. I was going to say something similar about "Never Ending..." that it's not as enduring as "Legend" (1985).
