Ok so I found out this really bizzare religious ritual which apparently still goes ok today. I'm not going to even mention what is but here's the YouTube link.

You confusing belief with assault two different things completely unacceptable there is no place in the modern world for anybody to be circumcised in the eyes of God male or female.

it’s down to interpretation i guess, ive copied and pasted this from a story in the guardian:

Brunei is to begin imposing death by stoning as a punishment for gay sex and adultery from next week, as part of the country’s highly criticised implementation of sharia law.

From 3 April, people in the tiny south-east Asian kingdom will be subjected to a draconian new penal code, which also includes the amputation of a hand and a foot for the crime of theft. To be convicted, the crimes must be “witnessed by a group of Muslims”.
