Good advice

There are also some emails going round claiming that you've downloaded illegal content and wanting you to fill in a form

Suffolk - East Anglia

My wife had a text stating that her car tax had not been paid and to avoid a fine of £1000, she must submit details for a bank payment. She ignored it fortunately.

Beware of these thieves and never disclose any information.

I checked my junk email earlier and had phishing emails from DHL and Amazon both from .xyz email addresses and both wanting me to verify my address.

I also had one from another parcel delivery company asking me to fill out a survey about my Amazon delivery (that I didn't have) but it also said it was not affiliated to Amazon in any way.

All marked as phishing scams.

Snap! I had all of those a couple of days ago. Reported and deleted the lot.

I had this last week from from the DVLA. I was shocked as I don't own a car.
