I do it regularly. I have a death row. Stuff I’ve not worn for ages and am having difficulty parting with, I put on death row. If I wear it, it gets put back in the proper place. If after a month it’s still there, charity shop.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I need to lose about a third of my clothes. I got rid of 10 pieces in January and then promptly wanted to to wear one of the things I gave away so ended up buying something similar.

I have an out of season wardrobe, a special clothes wardrobe and then a rail for the things I'm wearing now (about to swap autumn/winter for spring/summer). The death row would mean a whole season would be ditched.

Seasonal clothes are rotated anyway, stored out of the way, jumpers etc have their own rail, summer dresses together etc, shorts, fuck I’m way to organised in my wardrobes, I need. More distraction in my life

I know. It's the day the heating is turned off until at least November and I have the spring/autumn clothes dilemma: things in the wrong colours for spring but the right weight for not quite warm enough yet.

Um, I'll let you know if it ever happens, lol.

Come to think of it, that sounds pretty awful. I really should go througg my clothes and get rid of things I don't wear anymore -or have never worn.

Maybe when I have time...

I don't have many things that I've never worn as I'm not a compulsive shopper.

Every summer and winter I throw away anything not wearable any more.

I keep clothes until they fall apart.

Two weeks ago I took a large bag of stuff to the charity shop. Didn’t even make a dent in my narnia wardrobe so I will have to have another clear out again soon, when I get round to it. I have to be in just the right mood though
