Which profession drives you up the wall

There are some people in some jobs that just because of said job, behave in ways that just drive you insane with anger and frustration. Mine is doctor's receptionists. Omg especially ones of a certain age you approach the desk and some make you stand waiting till they finish tidying her paperwork, it's like "how dare you disturb me? I decide if and when you see the doctor"

I don't like how my doctors receptionist quizzes me about why I want to see he doctor.

Exactly the same as my doctors. Why do i need to tell you confidential info. Bitch do your job and book me an appointment.

I'm not a doctors receptionist but they are asked by the doctors to screen appointments so that if you need to see someone urgently they can arrange it. If you don't want to tell them just say "its personal"

I've complained about doctor's receptionists when I think they've genuinely over stepped the mark and received a phone call and letter of apology from the gp who owns the practice.

It's usually due to most people can be seen by a np or a hca so they can juggle lists for maximum appointments
