Argh it's so frustrating. I hate ignoring people so if they are not interested I send them a really polite message saying I'm not interested. Only to be then have one of two replies 'OK thankyou for letting me know' which I love! Or the other which is 'well you're just a stupid slut anyway'

Oh so you’ve not had a “but why?” Response yet unusual they’re more common than the abusive ones I find

But why don't you want to be kept in a cage and pissed on, it's a reasonable offer?

I'm the former. I can handle rejection, and understand not everyone is for everyone.

The last person I sent a face pic to after we'd already shown mutual interest in just instantly blocked me, maybe try thaT?

Aha! I should maybe just delete the messages but I feel so rude doing so. It takes a minute to write a one sentence reply.

If you accidentally cough when hovering the delete button, nobody will ever know

Personally, if someone replies not my type. That's more than fine. Its a bruise to the ego but I prefer the honesty. No reply comes across as rude to me.

Or the infamous ones. "well yeah I read your profile but thought I'd try anyway"

"Don't you want some of this dick"

No. No thank you.

It’s a lot easier to delete

In the site FAQ’s a no reply = a no thank you.

Its just easier not to reply some have one message in their inbox and get frustrated then abusive its why so many women just delete and move on.

I thought that too until I had 2 guys message me constantly every day. I then had to block them as my silence wasn't enough hence why I am now trying to be courteous aha

I find it much less hassle to simply block anyone I've said no thanks to.

I get zero comebacks, or abuse.

Easiest thing to do is reply and block straight away.

I can appreciate that some guys are dick heads but I've had some not so great replies myself.

Replying to an available to meet update with a courteous "I'm free and would like to meet reply, hope to hear back from you" I got "not that desperate" as a response

Visiting Yeovil

The worst part of sending a polite decline is when 6 months later they message you again. Usually saying something along the lines of 'we spoke before but didn't quite get around to meeting, wondered if your free at the weekend?'.

No means no, and trying to pull the wool over my eyes will never work. God bless the 'notes' facility

trouble is some read a polite" no thank you" as "please stalk me/keep messaging me all day anyway"!
