Hiking up the fells.

Anybody interested in hiking I need to buy a new pair of boots trying to get a pair of brasher ones. I have also only done 4 wainrights so far but plan to do more.

Brashers are poo now (made by berghaus) get a pair of scarpa or millet boots

The boot you buy isn't as important as the way you treat them.

You can buy lesser known brands that will do just as good a job as the expensive ones if you look after them well, and break them in properly.

I keep trying to bid on a mint condition pair off ebay they are so nice the original boots.

Don't buy them off ebay, you need to try them on and get a feel. Go to a walking shop and get advice.

I had scarpa and wasn't impressed with them. I've had mammots and I'm on salmon now.

I'll just do that then because there is nothing worse than a boot that doesn't fit right.
