Personally I'd say that this is a bad place to be looking for that sort of thing. There are too many people who have either negative views or totally misunderstand what is required.

It can be a good place for information but only if you're very selective in who you ask.

There is a degree of crossover between the two lifestyles but not nearly as much as many would imagine, I liken it to asking a farmer about gardening. Yes, there may be some similarities to the untrained eye but on the whole its a completely different thing

You really need to be in the fetish bdsm scene. Too many wannabees and fantasists on here. You might find the odd one with knowledge but in my experience this isn't the site
