A man of any age shouldn’t wear a football top. I’ve seen a man in his 50’s in full kit in Sainsbury’s, probably the saddest thing I’ve ever seen.

I used to wear skinny jeans. I bought them without trying on and was a little surprised. But like someone above said, wear what you want, life’s too short.

My skinny jeans were rather elastic and would show off a semi or an erection really well.

I'm 34 and happy to say i look A ok in my skinny jeans, can't say i have ever given pause to wonder if I'm too old for them though and frankly i can't stand boot cut jeans.

I'd say as with most things you do you i will do me, i can guarantee I'm not worrying about what you're wearing

I'll suggest it at the next AGM Tame, but I can't see it getting passed as it's quite useful when playing to differentiate between teams on the pitch.

Camberley occasionally doncaster

You can't wear them if you have any level of decent muscular development. Tried them once, just about got them over my thighs, but then couldn't sit down. It felt like my gentleman parts were being slowly cheesewired off.

I have issues buying jeans that fit anyway as I have tiny snake hips..

Someone’s age should have no bearing on what clothes they wear. If you like skinnies, wear em. If you don’t like them or don’t feel comfortable in them, don’t wear em.

I'm not about to wear skinny jeans for several reasons.

1. They don't suit me.

2. I'm fucked if I'm going to spend ten minutes wriggling into them.

3. THEY DON'T SUIT ME.

None of these reasons has anything to do with my age.

I've been waiting for the skinny jean trend to die out since about 2003. Other people can wear what they like. I'm just fed up with dwindling options in the trouser department. I have curvy/ muscular legs. Skinny jeans are at best unfortunate on me.

I started wearing jeans in the late 90s and was told that bootcut was most flattering for larger legs, as wide leg hippy style looks ridiculous (although they did have those tent like jeans back then). As everyone has gone more slim fit, I think straight is the new bootcut. I'm just trying to make the size difference between my thighs and calves less apparent.

I’m nearly 50 and I will always love guys in skinnies. I love wearing them myself and will continue to until I can no longer fit. It is my style though. I do think it does depend on that. I love a stylish man, what can I say but my stylish will be different to the next.

I'm not muscular at all and I 100% agree...all I want is a normal pair of jeans, not a skinny latte with a twisted seam.

...and dont get me started on those jeans purposely stitched so they look like they're about to fall down.

I've never seen a pair of jeans devour a man? I think skinny jeans are for children and teenagers myself, not grown men lol!

Ah, that explains it all! My mental age is actually to blame, not any kinda preference thing

I’m nearly 50 and I will always love guys in skinnies. I love wearing them myself and will continue to until I can no longer fit. It is my style though. I do think it does depend on that. I love a stylish man, what can I say but my stylish will be different to the next. "

With you all the way there and I’m well over 50. I think if someone doesn’t like that I wear skinnies at my age, it’s no big deal to me as they probably won’t be my kind of person anyway so their opinion is of no interest to me. I get judged for a lot more than what jeans I wear but by people who hold no value or interest to me at all anyway

"Men over the age of 21 should not wear skinny jeans.

Discuss.

And why is that OP?

Cause he’s jealous he can’t get into them I’m guessing.

This "

Is akinny legs on a guy really something to be jealous of? :p

"Can't stand skinny jeans, as a fairly muscular guy they'd look ridiculous on me. Problem is they've been fashionable since the Emo phase of 2006 and it's hard to buy normal fitting fashionable jeans for blokes these days

Tk Maxx always has a great selection of jeans in all cuts and sizes whichever branch I have visited. And significantly reduced too. I get all mine from there. "

Thankfully Levis still do 501's and some of the Superdry jeans are a decent cut!

Whenever I look in there, there are always a handful of Levis including 501's. Normal/straight fit. Same for 511's.

Always gives me pause seeing the collective mind at work, some give me hope.. Others well

Honestly the thought of "i don't like this so you shouldn't like it either and if you do you're wrong"

Is possibly the thought process that scares me most in this world.. Bloody book burners.

I'm inclined to agree. It's not a good look having withered legs.

The legs bother me less. A lot of the time it looks like someone deflated their arse. "

Haha, yes that's the look I find so unattractive, tight spidery legs with a baggy arse! I think the women probably wear them snug all over, which would work much better, but I can understand men not wanting 70's rockstar lunchboxes!!

I think most of the discussion here is "I don't like it (but you wear, what you like)"

I wonder how many people here actually remember getting in a bath with a pair of jeans on??

Certainly yes a lot of people have said that and those "give me hope" it's the others that give me pause. Growing up in the 80s and 90s men were so restricted fashion wise and only in recent years have we seen a resurgance in freedom if you will from earlier decades, but there is still the holdouts who believe differently.

In a time where(rightly so) a woman is encouraged to completely express themselves in clothes, make up and anything else they choose suitable or even provocative it's slightly sad that people even feel the need to judge.

I agree. And despite my comments, my feelings are very much that I rarely like the look but to each their own.
