I'm 34 and happy to say i look A ok in my skinny jeans, can't say i have ever given pause to wonder if I'm too old for them though and frankly i can't stand boot cut jeans.

I'd say as with most things you do you i will do me, i can guarantee I'm not worrying about what you're wearing

I'll suggest it at the next AGM Tame, but I can't see it getting passed as it's quite useful when playing to differentiate between teams on the pitch.

You can't wear them if you have any level of decent muscular development. Tried them once, just about got them over my thighs, but then couldn't sit down. It felt like my gentleman parts were being slowly cheesewired off.

I have issues buying jeans that fit anyway as I have tiny snake hips..

I couldn't work out why I couldn't get any really tight jeans to fit a while back, that's why I tried on 501's, because that's what I would've been wearing in the 70's and I knew they fit like a glove, voila!! Found some vintage 525 on ebay too, they fitted pretty good too.

I started wearing jeans in the late 90s and was told that bootcut was most flattering for larger legs, as wide leg hippy style looks ridiculous (although they did have those tent like jeans back then). As everyone has gone more slim fit, I think straight is the new bootcut. I'm just trying to make the size difference between my thighs and calves less apparent.

I’m nearly 50 and I will always love guys in skinnies. I love wearing them myself and will continue to until I can no longer fit. It is my style though. I do think it does depend on that. I love a stylish man, what can I say but my stylish will be different to the next.

I think if someone doesn’t like that I wear skinnies at my age, it’s no big deal to me as they probably won’t be my kind of person anyway so their opinion is of no interest to me. Certainly yes a lot of people have said that and those "give me hope" it's the others that give me pause. Growing up in the 80s and 90s men were so restricted fashion wise and only in recent years have we seen a resurgance in freedom if you will from earlier decades, but there is still the holdouts who believe differently.

In a time where(rightly so) a woman is encouraged to completely express themselves in clothes, make up and anything else they choose suitable or even provocative it's slightly sad that people even feel the need to judge.

Honestly the thought of "i don't like this so you shouldn't like it either and if you do you're wrong"

Is possibly the thought process that scares me most in this world.. Bloody book burners.

I think most of the discussion here is "I don't like it (but you wear, what you like)"

I agree. And despite my comments, my feelings are very much that I rarely like the look but to each their own.
