Have you ever had the chance to meet up with someone who you like and changed your mind?

This happened to me recently

Hillside desolate

No, I'm usually as sure as I can be that I like them before we meet.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Do you mean you liked the idea of meeting them or thought you liked them until you met them?

I liked her alot and she asked me to visit her house for a coffee, and a few days before we were going to meet she told me she wanted a regular fwb and I couldn't be a regular fwb for her.

That sounds like she just changed her mind. It happens.

I've had that too.

The lady who I met on here told me she was messed around by men who told her they wanted to be her regular fwb and and she never saw them again after one visit.

I didn't want to mess her around again.

I have.

If for whatever reason I've not "felt it" as the time has gotten closer. If I've been overly stressed or not feeling as though I could bring laughter and positive vibes. I don't want someone making an effort and spending their precious time on a grizzle-grump. Didn't feel it was fair on them

Yes. Some guys think it's a green light when I tentatively agree to a social, and they stop behaving themselves and start revealing they have no intention of respecting my wishes. I cancel, tell them why, and block them.

Il be honest I thought it was a green light for sex when she asked me to call in for a coffee and I was crazy for her.. But I know I couldnt be a regular fb for her and she was a lovely woman, I didn't want to mess her around.

The guys I'm thinking of, I made it clear that social meant social only and other things that are non negotiable, and we're telling me before the social that I was going to go further than I said because they'd persuade me

That doesn't fit with your OP. She clarified what she wanted, you couldn't provide that and you were kind enough not to take advantage by lying. Isn't that what meeting is about?

Scotland - Aberdeen

It's the trying of manipulation on here I can't stand! Why the hell don't people respect what the other says and try and twist it? If you don't match what the other wants, then leave well alone, I'm long sickened what others try to achieve to suit their own wants!
