I've been to a fiar few but here are my favourites:

Radiohead - played at their hometown oxford. Supported by supergrass, also oxford band. Great day and went to aftershow party. So many top people there.

Coldplay - wembley stadium. Awsome.

Magic numbers - O2 oxford. Intimate but great.

Steroephonics. - cardiff. They know how to rock.

A friend of mine was at the legendary MTV Unplugged Nirvana gig. I've hated him for that ever since!!!

My best gig was MeatLoaf at the Leeds showground 2002. He was awesome. He asked if anyone had any requests, and a little girl right in front of the stage, shouted out the T-Rex song; 20th Century Boy. When he said he didn't sing it, she was all disappointed, so Meatloaf and his daughter sang it acapella for her!!

A seriously amazing artist and showman.

"We're off the see Van 'the man' Morrison a week on Saturday.

Saw him in Leeds a long long time ago, was just after 'A night in San Francisco' was released, same set list and line up but without Junior wells and John Lee Hooker etc

Van was mainly pished, so Brian Kennedy and Georgie Fame did most of the vocals, was still a great gig though

Bets gig i have been to, (which was not really a gig in the true sense) was a small spur of the moment gig, when Mark knopfler walked into his old watering hole, The Grove Inn, Leeds, sat down with Brendan Crocker, and joined in.

Second best I have been to was Queen at Elland Rd Leeds, 1982, Hot Space tour, same tour line up as was mentioned earlier at Milton Keynes.

1) Guns & Roses

2) Kasabian

3) NO FX (for the simple fact they got the whole of leeds festival to run round the sound tower!)

4) Arctic Monkeys

5) Coldplay

Surprisingly Oasis was the worst gig! They weren't talking at the time they came on stage mumbled their words and liam walked off half way thru leaving noel to finish up. Who promptly went off stage after the next song, all without uttering a word to the audience! So disappointing.

30 seconds to mars in glasgow.

Guys know how to put on a show. Jared has a potty mouth though

Hoping to see lots more bands this year. Also lots of you have great taste esp. Indie/alternative choices.

Best gig ever... Foo Fighters in The Barrowlands back in the 90's.

I worked security in the pit at the front of stage, pulling crowd surfers out! Dave Grohl just a couple of feet behind me, and streams of good looking people needing pulled out of the crowd!

Peaky Nipples

Been lucky enough to see many bands I love, many listed above in others posts but without doubt the best gigs I've been to was slayer at rock city, 1st on the south of heaven tour and then on the world painted blood tour.

Both times the place was packed and went mental

I have to confess to boyhood fantasies about Marianne Faithfull. She's still horny now.
