When I was 10 and on bebo I joined in with these forums called ask the experts. Someone called ‘Rob’ got chatting to me, so we added each other on msn. Rob was 13 from England.

I figured out after about a year Rob was a girl, but it was fine. We used to speak on the phone all the time and go on webcam to each other, Rob would have their hood up and the camera was blurry.

When I was 14 she finally told me she was Rosie. I told her I knew, had known for years and was totally fine. She had a pretty shit time of it growing up, dad abused her, mum had depression and was going through a lot and she was bullied at school for being a lesbian.

I’m 22 now and we still chat on snapchat and Instagram. She’s been engaged to her fiancée for almost two years, and she’s lovely too

I still talk weekly with someone I've know that I've known for 15 years.

I talk daily with multiple daily that I've known 10+ years. Been to their stag parties, weddings and visit regularly.

Gotta have ppl from maybe nine or ten years ago..... ....all over the world too, Americans and Australians make great online friends, they're really educated in my experience, contrary to what we're told to believe.....

I still have a couple of contacts on my phone from years ago when I first started using chatting apps.

The only time I hear from them is when I wish them happy birthday or new year.

I guess conversation is not my strong point. I allways log into apps for a chat and when I get a message, I can't think of anything to say lol

On fab? I got talking to a wee weegie lad in my first week on fab via the forums four years ago this May. Absolute darling and a true friend. We talk pretty much daily.

6 years on here? We met a few times.

Off here I actually made a social website account (dunno if I can say the name) for fab friends and i started talking to a girl who wasn't on here. I added her when I closed the account and we've been talking for 4 years now.

Yeah - we were chatting today - have been for nearly 5 years I’d say. She’s certainly my longest standing Fab friend - if we ever meet it really will only be as friends and that’s more than alright

16yrs ago a group of us got chatting & became good friends, we still play regularly & chat most days.

We've met up for long weekends on several occasions, people have travelled from as far as America, Canada, Sweden.

In terms of Fab I am still in contact with people I chatted to when I first joined back in 2015. That includes in and out of forums. Met a few and some others will hopefully be this year... it's about time our schedules synchronised

On the last sex site i was on i met a man fron Denmark who arranged to meet me whilst he was over here visiting friends. We met had a chat, drink and did the deed and then i dropped him to the Train station the next day, and we catch up on Whatsapp about every other month. He’s built his own home from scratch and is currently busy furnishing it.

I also met another chap from Northern Ireland, who is a lorry driver. We chatted for 2 years before meeting for a coffee (no sex) and we have kept in touch since (a further 2 years).

I have to say it’s them that keeps in touch with me as i’m pretty rubbish at that sort of thing.

Four years with a woman in Texas and we chat daily.

It’s nice to make long time friends and be able to talk about anything and everything.

(Obviously helps she likes hearing about my antics), but it’s nice to have someone to talk to without being judged.

It’s just hard to find people like that.

It's no big deal.

I've got: a lady from Michigan, a retired black NYPD police man, a German police woman, a retired Vietnam marine, a Vietnam guy who lives in the Forrest as a prepper, an expert on islam; a retired navy guy and an Australian who was in the army.

I've been talking to those people for years.
