Is that all the love this woman is going to get? Fuck me!

Infantry training is hardcore. You may think the minimum pass requirements don't sound too enduring. They are a minimum, each PTI takes personal pride in achieving the strongest physical troop they can. So they beast the fuck out of you.

It's cold, wet, shitty, intense. Living in close proximity to dickheads and arseholes you wouldn't normally choose to hang out with.

Plus she has the weight of expectation to contend with. Fail and she'll feel like she's let women down everywhere. Men win. Disbelievers continue to disbelieve.

She's a fucking hero.

Limbo

I have regularly fantasised about achieving something like this which'd be the epitome of mental and physical fitness. Maybe when I'm reincarnated . All respect to the woman who overcame all the literal and metaphorical obstacles

Oh she won't be at her peak lol.. squaddies are fit, but the fitness isn't exactly good for the body.. more about breaking it.

I can understand her - or anyone - being wrecked after the event but surely she'd need to be super fit in the first place to endure that?

Not particularly.. Most lads who join infantry played a bit of sport in school.. that's about it.

Basic Training is relatively easy.

Infantry training is much tougher.. but nowhere near a professional athlete. It's just having the mental endurance to not give up.

We have been allowing females into special forces since 2016( not close combat ) sas and marines are now allowing all females to serve as front line close combat, sas were first to do this, Royal Marines are doing so as of this year I think ?
