hiding from cock pics.

On the back of Sophieslut's thread of wrong prices, what things do you feel are great value for money?

I think the Toby Carvery is a very good deal. My local one is £7.50 for a full Carvery or vegetarian meal with unlimited fresh vegetables.

Always delicious and a very satisfying meal.

Also Wetherspoons, some of them are in really lovely buildings, (I know some of them are not), but you can get a great meal or a pizza straight out of the pizza oven with a drink for under a tenner.

I like a chinese buffet. Not many left and the food is not the best at these places but you can take you time and get more than your money's worth.

Puregym - I think access to a large number of gyms around the country, free classes and 24 hour access, all for 25 quid a month is pretty sweet.

That and and a sausage bap in greggs with a latte for 2 pounds

Ours is only 14.99 and that’s set for life but I can’t use other pure gyms . Can’t even shower for that everyday .... excellent value

When I was in Blackpool I had a nice twin room for £26 for the night.

Went to the pub and had 6 pints and change out of a tenner.

I will never eat in a harvester again when I saw a kid pick up a piece of pasta, decided she did not like it and throw it back with the other pasta for people to enjoy. Worst thing was that it was witnessed by her mum!

I've never been in a Toby Carvery.

But there used to be a Carvery up the road from me that was excellent value - it was £10 for a slap up roast and a dessert.

Usually 3 types of meat to choose from and all the trimmings.

The staff weren't judgey when you asked for more potatoes either
