Have you ever stumbled across a profile and gone WOW, they are now top of my hotlist?

I don't mean amazing pics, there are plenty of them about, but someone whose words stop you in your tracks?

No. Just the pics. I find the text bit makes me cringe a bit, none of us like talking about ourselves and although some people can capture their personality well it still seems a bit forced.

I read a profile the other day after they winked me, had me after the first paragraph - was quite long but incredibly funny and honest.

Been chatting quite a bit since and not normally the my type, but i had to send them a message to say well done.

What she said, only with the addition that some ppl have a way with words and others don't have a clue, but it doesn't necessarily mean they're being truthful just because the can throw a few manipulative lines together....

The wow moment for me comes when you exchange a few messages and the connection forms, then you talk on the phone and you're like wow they didn't disappoint and I love their voice, then you meet and you're like fucking super wow I could spend a year in this persons company and not be bored....

My jaw has never dropped, that’s only for cartoons. I’ve been mildly aroused and faintly impressed in equal measure, but that’s as good as it gets. Most of the time it’s me just turning my phone trying to work out what I’m looking at.

I’ve been astonished though at the list of demands on some women’s profiles, then looked at their veri’s and laughed cause if that’s what exceptional looks like then Nothing to worry about.

There are profiles that have made me grin, and some that have piqued my interest but not sure there have ever been any that on their own made me go "wow I've got to meet them" - for starters I'm not that presumptive and for seconds it's finding a connection and chemistry through messages that gives me the wow factor

Totally agree with GM... I always read the profile. Some are really well written with thought which I like to see. Those that contain less than one sentence, or worse still txt speak

I have done before now yes, it's very rare that I came across one that made me go "wowsers" and I also matched their criteria, so no, I never messaged cold.

Occasionally though someone that garners that reaction has messaged me and its fantastic.

Profiles are just there to give an idea and break the ice, it's what's followed after that's blown my mind.

Yes there are. If I really have enjoyed a profile I do send a message if I can. I use the words and the pictures together to help build a picture of who the profile belongs to. One without the other probably doesn’t do it for me.

I've come across a number of profiles that stopped me dead in my tracks as soon as I saw them. I'll see the pictures, read the profile, and go "ohh yes please" I've been fortunate to have met and become friends with some of them.

If I don't fit their criteria I just admire from afar

You can look at and read the most delicious profiles, when you do meet for a social... Bam... Nothing like the pictures or as profile suggests.

We're all taken in by beautiful pictures and articulate profiles. It's not all as it says on the tin... Xx
