Shaved at the side hair style

I’m feeling a bit of a frump and want to do something with my long bob. Recently gone a brighter red but keep seeing woman with side bobs and it shaved at the side and I love it. Hubby isn’t too sure.

Anyone else got this?

There's a woman at my work with this, it looks great but you need to get it shaved quite often I think, when it starts growing in it doesn't look so great.

That’s what is worrying me. I know when I cut my hair short I hated it and took years to grow back x

Do it! I used to have the side of my hair shaved. Haven’t touched it in three months because I’ve been too exhausted but hopefully getting it shaved again soon

I feel more girly with half a head shaved. I love it. Do it!!!

It will take a long time to grow out and once its done you're committed to keeping it cut or finding a style that allows you to grow it out while balancing it with the longer side.

That said, if you want to do it, go ahead! It's good to change the way you look now and again.

Growing my undercut out. Had bright red hair, originally side shaved and then shaved all around so an undercut. Loved it, but the maintenance was a mare! Taking ages to grow back though.

Hairdresser loved it though, haha, quick grade (set to zero) a trim and sorted for a few weeks. She loves that I’ll experiment with my hair.

When I wanted a vintage look, I’d wrap a chiffon scarf around and curl my short hair. For alt would tie it back or comb over one side to show it was shaved, and for everyday or nights out would straighten it- looked like an ordinary bob.

Mr loved it. It’s a great look, but be sure as once it’s shaved you can’t change your mind, haha- but it will grow back and you’ll have fun experimenting, and hubby may love it xx

I have short hair with the left side shaved, it lasts me just about 3 weeks then it needs shaved again. That side is high maintenance but I love it

I had one side shaved just over a year ago. It's pretty high maintenance if you have colour. I'd get mine shaved every 2-3 weeks at the barbers and then go to my hairdresser for a cut every 6-8 weeks.

Every time it was shaved, the colour would be shaved out and any white/grey hair would be really obvious. I'd have to put semi-permanent colour on everytime it was shaved again.

It was easy enough to grow out though to be honest.

I have long ginger hair on one side and shaved in (no 2) on the other. It does require maintenance but I just go to a barber near work and only costs £5

I'm with you and dont know why but I find it very sexy.. 1 side shaved 1 side long.. like 2 different people in 1
