I have done it, though not often and only in certain circumstances. Usually for one on one I prefer to see a face first. While they can be manipulated or be unflattering, some idea is always better than no idea.

Hi,

I love the build up and anticipation of a blind meet. It can go badly wrong or be a huge anticlimax, however, if it goes the other way it can be an explosive and really fulfilling meet in every way. (Did that make sense?)

I accidentally (genuinely, I was brand new to Fab and really hadn't got my head around it) had my first social meet without sending him a picture. We still meet a year later, so I can't have been too scary

I'd only meet blind in a controlled kink scenario, to be fair, and would be wary of someone unwilling to show a face picture at some stage before meeting.

I think it can add a certain something.

Meeting blind for a social is something I have done before and quite enjoyed it. Ultimately, we aren't all photogenic and quite a few ladies I have met have commented I look a lot better in real life.

I love the idea in theory but when put into practice, I think it can be quite a daunting experience (even more so than it is at the best of times lol) especially as a single female! I personally wouldn’t want my other half (fictional in this case) going to a meet without me being able to have some sort identification to give the police etc just in case anything was to go terribly wrong!

It had nothing to with standards I was fortunate to meet people I was attracted to. I would have said thanks but no thanks if I hadn’t been. It’s just how it was a lot of the time in the early days of the net.

No, couldn't do it unless there was a level of attraction already established and whilst a pic doesn't necessarily compare to "in the flesh" it does at least allow that initial attraction to be formed.

Back when I was single, in the early days of internet dating, I had a few "blind" meets and some of them were more than a little awkward having to go through the motions of the "date" knowing from the instant I saw the person they were not for me.
