Love Islands Mike Thalassitis found dead

26 year old found dead in woodland near his home today. Sad, possible suicide? They haven’t given the cause yet.

I think he’s taken his own life.

I have no idea who he was but I feel for his family and friends.

But there a lot of people who take their own lives who don't even get a mention in the local paper.

I am sympathetic all the same.

No idea who he was.

But tragic at such a young age. Suicide in young men real issue.

Just seemed so confident and was extremely handsome and successful. Similar to a lad I knew who seemed like he had it all on the outside.

I know suicide all too well being from Bridgend and all.

That’s if it was, speculating at the moment.

We have quite a few cases where people walk into the sea by me and it’s usually women. The one that made me cry was a few years back two identical twins in their late 70’s walked into the sea to take their lives cos one of them had terminal cancer.

Suicide is awful. One every 45 seconds globally. I think it is the most common form of death for 35 to 49 year old men. I am sure I read that recently.

Absolutely tragic.
