Top five all time fave.

I'm glad Tom Hanks and Kevin Costner turned down the part of Andy Dufresne and that Rob Reiner did not direct it, he proposed Tom Cruise in Tim Robbins’ role and Harrison Ford in Morgan Freeman’s role.

Was on last week watched it for 100oth time ace film digging through all that shit for freedom and coming out squeeky clean also love when Andy has his library and puts the music in the yard great film.

Yup indeed it was a sublime use of the "Sul Aria from the Marriage of Figaro by Mozart"
