Young trans girl on Jeremy vine

I often get asked my opinions on very young people transitioning when I get into converstaion.

There is a young lady on Jeremy vines show this afternoon discussing her experience and that of her family.

I’ll be listening with interest.

For the record; I would have loved to have stopped my first puberty. It was quite possibly the most distressing thing I’ve ever experienced.

How old is she?

I think it's difficult being able to know your identity for sure at any age.

My friends daughter now son did it, he was very determined to do it. He was also autistic so that added a few issues with sharing the process with his mom. But he is now fully a man. He was about 13 when he started the process but said he knew for years before that x

I missed it myself. I’ll have to ‘listen again’ but I think she was 13.
