Are you more nervous than normal meeting someone new ?

Do you think there would is more pressure to 'perform' on men than women or vice versa?

Until recently I hadn’t met anyone for sex for 5 years. I was extremely nervous, but had an awesome time.

I've always been quite nervous meeting someone new.

I think there's massive pressure on men and women to be a certain way on here.

Yeah, last time I had sex was the first time with this particular woman. I did have nerves leading up to it and even afterwards was thinking did they show. Guess it’s he same for both males and females though.

I don't get nervous about meeting someone, it's the getting to them that stresses me out.

Once I'm there I'm so relieved I relax and am fine.

I’m a 5ft 4 size bag of nerves, I’ve only had 1 person turn on me for feeling anxious and a handful of chats that made me nervous so I got out before we met but on the whole most have been very kind, accepting and understanding x

I’m always nervous meeting someone new anyway. I’m an absolute nightmare. I usually end up doing something stupid too to make it worse!

I’ve not had a meet off fab for a while. But, don’t think I’d call it nerves. You do get that initial thought of ‘hope they like me in the flesh’ but thankfully so far, not heard any complaints.

You’d be alright.

Sorry, I mean your friend will be okay.

I wouldn't say that I get nervous before meeting someone new, excited possibly though

I hate a first meet. Thats why i love a first social meet. Takes the edge of trying to get to know people and perform. 2nd is always my best.

Yes, generally I get very nervous before I meet someone new but the way I handle my interactions mean that it feels more like meeting a friend than a random person.

Nerves are good though, it shows that you're doing something exciting. I think the day that I don't get nervous is the day I stop.

As for performance pressure? Yes, I think there's huge pressure on the guy to perform from fab in general. Again though that's why I'm very careful and selective about who I do actually meet.

I think the nerves are part of the thrill!

And yes, if it's been a little while, I can be.

Since we usually meet for a social first though, there is usually a rapport in place, so when I (almost inevitably) trip over my own feet or knock something over, it breaks the tension!

.

I get nervous meeting someone new but the day I don't is the day I stop meeting from fab. It's such a rush. Actually, I get nerves of sorts any time I meet someone for sex - it's a real rush.

I think there are different sorts of pressure on men and women in terms of sex but equal amounts of it - men are more often than not expected to be the sexual aggressor, the woman aesthetically is expected to be a certain way. Men are expected to last a certain amount of time. Women are expected to respond in a certain sort of way. And that's before you get in to the body shaming surrounding sex. Men and women can both be twats when discussing the sex they've had.

I only meet people who do away with those daft notions and don't expect or place pressure on gender specific conformities. I meet people who find sex fun primarily and a mutually explorative thing.

Pretty much sums me up

I think performance pressure is as much about self-perception as anything - and this place certainly doesn't help with that sometimes with visions of guys who can go all night, repeating multiple times etc - when the reality is a lot different.

I have done.

Right. With my last meet we had a social then had a proper meet three months later, at that stage I hadn't had sex for 14 months and I was physically shaking at one point through nerves. All was good in the end.

I'm nervous meeting someone new regardless to when I last had sex. The nerves settle down pretty quick once I'm there.

No.

I'm honestly indifferent.

I think because of my condition I enjoy being alone.

I think I'm my youth I did things like loosing virginity and getting girlfriends who were not suitable simply because of social pressure from common folk.

Now I'm alot more happy not forcing myself to live up to other people's expectations.

After you travel the world and experience lots of foreign women you grow up and stop acting like sex is a competition of who can fuck the most.

You just find pleasure in companionship and things you enjoy. You stop behaving like an adolecent boy.

If I don't have sex for 1 year I am indifferent. I don't enjoy traveling 20 miles at short notice to shag a random fat slapper just for the sake of it.

I would at one time but not now so much, i am always wary about meeting people, i dont know about pressure to perform, i dont take it too seriously its only sex after all. If it goes well then thats good, if it doesnt too bad, better luck next time. Maybe take time to find out what you both like then hopefuly you will meet someone who you are compatable with.

I haven’t had sex for 14 months now and it is nerve racking meeting someone new. The last guy I was sleeping with it had been ages since I’d done anything sexual with him as well and when I was sucking him off I did a massive sicky burp!

I think it's natural to feel nervous before meeting someone new. I know I am. I've not met anyone for over 2 years now and I get nervous just thinking about it!

I think nerves are part of it and if it's been a while then that would make it more intense.

It's been a while for me so I'd be in the same boat as your 'mate'
