Anyone had an experience of chatting to someone for an evening and that’s all very polite and getting along fine from both sides, only to suddenly be blocked? Confused...

I wouldn't try to analyse it. People block for all sorts of reasons.

I had arranged to meet a guy last week, waited for 15 minutes, came home messaged just asking if all was ok? He blocked me haha

No point in letting it bother you. Better is out there

People block for all sorts of reasons OP,try not to think about it or it will drive you mad.
