Should ya, Would ya, Could ya

You're walking along the street minding your own bizz when you go flying arse over tit and land in a heap on the floor right outside a homeless shelter/orphanage/poorly puppy house (apply whichever tugs on your heart strings most)

You appear to have tripped over a duffel bag containing a HUGE amount of wonga and there is no one else around so.....

Should ya; hand it into the police in the hopes of returning it to its rightful owner?

Would ya; Donate it to the needy cause a mere stones throw away?

Could ya; Grab the bag and make a run for it and spend it like a wild (Wo)Man?

Just a bit of fun guys, don't go lynching the theiving scrotes who decide to do a runner

I would hand it to the police. It's the right thing to do.

Scunthorpe

I'd hand it in to the police... if it's not claimed, I'll happily spend it, but it should be returned to its rightful owner if possible.

There and to the left a bit

"I would hand it to the police. It's the right thing to do."

This

Any other option would be both deceitful and theft - besides perhaps the money in the bag belonged to the other charitable cause just up the road that isn't as well supported but just as worthy as the one under your nose.

I’d stand there for a bit contemplating what I should do and then guilt would get the better of me and go and hand it in, hope that it isn’t claimed!! That way I can feel guilt free, yes I didn’t give it to charity but my family is more important in all honesty.

Hiding in the shadows

Ussain Bolt wouldn't catch me.

But then I'd sit at home stressing, feeling guilty, panicking.

I'd have to hand it in

I’d split it, keep some and rest go to the animals, homeless and other charities.

Actually I feel I cunt even doing that, no it’s all goes to the charities, wasn’t my money in the first place.

Den of Iniquity

I wouldnt hand it in to the police that's for sure . They'd just put it towards their Xmas party fund . I'd give half to the dog / puppy place , and the other half would go mainly on Beer, Women , KFC, and Wine

The rest I'd just squander

Well seeing as the police say they don’t accept holding lost property ie wallets/ purses I’d have to keep it. X

East Sussex

If hypothetically there were no consequences to my hypothetical actions I'd keep it and sue the owners via a personal injury lawyer.

The only thing that would matter to me is if the bag was actually on the property or it was clear that someone left it there for that shelter/orphanage/etc. In that case I wouldn't do anything. If not then the next thing that would matter is if the money gets reported missing. In the meantime it will be sitting safely at an undisclosed location. I'll call the police once a month for 6 months to see if money has been reported missing and the onus will be on them to tell me the amount and location where it was lost etc. Failing that, I'll chalk it up to someone's illegal gains from crime and... $$$ cha ching!
