There was an Area 51 doc that I watched not all that long ago that had all kinds of reputable people, including ex presidents, who all said that the crashed UFO in Roswell had 3 bodies in it, 1 of which was taken alive to be tested and they weren't human. I don't know what to believe personally because politicians are liars by nature, but it's a big universe and ours can't be the only planet on it with intelligent life surely.

I can't believe in the Area 51 thing - I just don't think an alien race with the intelligence and technology to be able to travel how ever many millions of light years to get here would just "crash" so easily. We may have been visited by ETs, but apart from a field-trip study by green-skinned students, what interest would we be?

But were they images of what they saw? Actually I think physics puts all the life sustaining planets at earth size plus or minus 2 deviations.

Life on earth consists of the five main elements in the same ratio as the universe, it's not impossible to find a tiny silicone based life form but the odds favour something similar to us.

Physics and more to the point quantum theory even makes the supposed great distances irrelevant, it's likely that aliens will travel through dimensions and not space.

Any intelligent species will always have a curiosity factor and all life is curious.

No, I don't believe that they have visited earth. I'm not aware of any evidence that would support us having been visited by advanced tech. aliens.

I also think that it's more likely than than not that we haven't been visited by aliens from unimaginably long distances away, when we're probably not even that interesting to them, compared to all the other incredible things that they could be doing instead.

Of the 200 billion stars in our own galaxy, 10% have planets with earth like qualities, thats 20 billion potential life sustaining planets in our own galaxy alone, and there are 16 trillion galaxies out there.

Drakes equation is very interesting the main issue is its estimated values for its factors are conjectural and not able to be based on solid figures therefore making it a speculative intellectual theorem rather than anything based on a solid mathematical base.

Ok putting a sensible head on, we have evolved (technology) dramatically in the last 100 yrs..

Far more than we probably should have??

So it’s a known fact that there are an estimated 3000 planets in our galaxy that will be able to support life, life may now even exist on mars and one of Saturn’s moons

Life will exist where conditions are right, to think earth is the one planet in a galaxy of billions where life happened, is to be frank ridiculous.

Intelligent life, our own race evolved over a small amount of time, it’s most likely that s dominant race will also evolve on each planet able to sustain life.

Thus it’s very likely if you consider we are one of 3000 planets where life exists in our galaxy

That we are not top of the 3000

Let’s say we are about 75% above most in the evolution scale.

This would mean 750 types of race have evolved more than we have.

Some will be far more advanced than us.

So if these figs are even partially correct, then it’s very likely we have been visited in the past, now,and in the future...

It just makes logical sense

If we are being serious then I agree with you. I believe in the theory that what our ancestors thought of as gods and angels were more likely visitors but they didn't know the correct term to describe them. After all the bible claims God wasn't from this planet but created it and us so obviously God would be an alien lifeform.

If you follow logic it will be most likely that alien "life" will be artificial, although artificial is a loose human term, they'll be highly intelligent self aware AI created by somebody, they will seek the creator just like we do and part of that journey will be life study.

I have no doubt the earth has been visited many many times.

Considering the vast size of the Universe and the billions of stars, most with planets orbiting, it would be very big headed is us to assume life does not exist elsewhere.

Scientists base their ideas on what we need on Earth for its many species to exist. Carbon based lifeforms which require an exact set of circumstances to thrive.

Evolution states that all living things on our planet have adapted to their surroundings, and are still evolving to this day. Why should this not be the case for other lifeforms? To adapt and evolve to the environments they are in. Not to mention the vast number of Earth like planets.

Forbidden history. Items discovered from antiquity that simply should not exist. Models and cave paintings of flying machines and their occupants. The Nasca lines, many thousands of years old, but intended to be viewed from a high altitude. The pyramids of Giza which align exactly with Orion. The many artifacts seen on the surface of Mars by the rovers we sent there.

It's always good to keep an open mind. But you could say there is already evidence to support the existence of extraterestrial life. We're with the yes crowd.

What items from history have been discovered that shouldn't exist? Genuine question.

I've looked at the nazca lines. One thing that strikes me is the apparent basic nature of something built by a life form with the technology to travel in space. I agree that they're probably best seen from above but even the tiny bit of reading I did says that's possible from nearby hill tops.
