Here's a big hug and a virtual Lemsip to anyone suffering with the lurgy today...

(Vicks chest rub optional)

Stay warm x

I haven't had cold or flu this season. I think it's the garlic I use

I'm currently cold free and feeling fine. I have however recently discovered echinacea after a terrible cold a few months ago and I'm hopeful that might help ward off future bouts. I've read good things about it.

Still if anyone wants to rub some Vicks on my chest they're more than welcome.

As someone who is struggling to fight off the lurgy, the virtual hug and Lemsip are greatly appreciated. Be careful with the Vicks though, I wouldn't want you to mat my chest hair.

I’ve got a sore throat and my voice sounds very gravelly. My whole office seems to have the lurgy, they’re dropping like flies.

Yes seems to be going round again. Gargle warm salt water...that was my dad's cure for everything .

I’ll try that. I’m on honey and lemon too.
