I find myself on unfamiliar ground,hubbys at work, kids are at school, No work for me today, the house is quiet.... was hoping to go for a nice walk in the countryside and this awful weather's put a stop to that... what the blummin 'eck do i do with 5 hours of peace and quiet.... it's unheard of.

I wish for a day like that. I would drink tea and knit probably, until my hands got sore, then cook or bake a cake for the grandchildren.

Turn on every noisy device in the house, run around like a loony picking stuff up then throwing it into the next room, half make a cake then lift the mixer up to splatter the walls.

Then your day will feel normal
