Do you save them and return their original contents when you move house etc., or do you bin them right away?

I do a combination of both, depending on what they are for.

However, I am throwing out more and more as they take up too much valuable space in the garage!

Ive a shed full waiting to go to the tip. Some places no longer give out cardboard boxes when you want them

We have "freecycle" here, you put on or look for things you no longer need or things you need. All free, just collect.

There is probably one in your area. Google it.
