I’m very happy to have bisexual on my profile as it deters those who would not be compatible with me. Even though I haven’t had sexual contact with a man for 9 years I prefer my sexuality to be accepted than something I need to hide. I have enough of that in real life.

Quite happily and openly bisexual here - I don't buy the "might hinder my chances" thing at all - sure some people won't want to meet me because of my sexuality, but that's no different than some people not wanting to meet me because of my age, or the fact I'm fairly average looking, or have greying hair or any number of other things - I am what I am, and there are still people that do want to meet me.

I always find it better to focus on those people than worry about those that rule me out

I do get that and I understand that view point. However, on here where labels mean so much, surely being direct and honest about who you are and what you're looking for will help you to meet others.

Personally I won't entertain meeting a guy who doesn't state that they're bi on their profile as that doesn't speak privacy, that says duplicity to me.

Thanks and it should be totally about who you are sexually. Imo still far more acceptable to be a bi woman than a man. 1.,people who are not comfortable with their sexuality or

2. Pretending to be bi to get at a woman in a bi couple.

We're not interested in either of these categories.
