Bored of fab??

Jump to newest

By *heffcouple09 OP   Couple

Sheffield

Hey everyone,

Is it just me or is fab just not the same anymore??

Why doesn't nobody want to engage in a decent conversation?

I enjoy the social side of things as much as the play but to me there has got to be some kind of mutual interests to get the chat flowing.

People who reply with one word answers piss me off!

Rant over and happy Sunday everyone

Xx

It regularly changes , but it’s dependent on how you feel.

It’s changed for me at the moment hence I spend less time on here. Forums are the same really - mails are the same but it’s actually me that’s not bothered

I’m being pedantic

It can be hard work - it’s so fucking cheesy at the moment that I come armed with crackers

Have to agree with you 100%

You can send out a plethora of respectful messages and people just can’t be bothered to reply.

I do through phases with it. Sometimes I get bored of it and leave it alone for weeks and months, but other times I really enjoy it, like now after a long break away. I've accepted to enjoy it when it's good and leave it alone when it feels like a chore.

Up your age range as a lot of older people can only talk about it and talk a lot about loads of other stuff too from knee pain to bunions and worse.

It’s what you make of it. Sometimes it can be exceptionally rewarding. There are however many occasions it can be tough.

I enjoy it, the forums can bring some light hearted relief at times.

I habe stopped actively looking for meets so I end up going with the flow and occasionall chatting with people without the pressure of trying to chase the elusive meet.

When my mojo is back, things might change.

I agree one or two word answers are a nightmare but many women in their initial replies don't have more time than to say thanks until of course you generate some kind of rapor and then conversation ensues ,it takes two to create good conversation

I keep intending to leave as I'm really not feeling it at all anymore, then somebody talks me in to staying but each time I do stay I then start feeling like I'm more motivated to leave.

One of these days I will leave....

I've mostly noticed it's not the site. It's where I live and the demographics thereof. I've pretty much given up on trying to message people to arrange meets, sick of writing thoughtful messages that languish, unread.

It’s the same a little further up the M5 too. People say you get what you put in to FAB...I disagree.

But, that said, I appreciate what it’s like for us blokes and how inundated women get.

Just think it’s a shame everyone gets tarred with the same brush, that’s all.

I’ve been on and off here for years and there has been a definite shift in how interaction plays out, maybe it’s just me older and wiser, it’s getting more difficult to get anything going, I find the forum the best place to be, even if it’s just for a nosey, I know there are many that love it now and I am still a regular every day, but it has changed

but on the other hand, where i live there is a saturation of profiles so it could also work against us in that way too maybe?

We just need that South Yorkshire spirit back, most OG FAB and club swingers simply expect the same respect for play time that we give, some newer swingers unfortunately haven’t had that respectful play pleasure. Enjoy who or what you play with when you do...remember you are absolutely fucking FABulous xxxx

Where you live (London/Essex) is where I've had the best results when it comes to meeting people... So yeah either dumb luck or maybe that part of the world is friendlier!
