I’ve had an iPhone for years but once I can upgrade I’m going to a different phone altogether, I like taking pictures (obviously!) and the camera is shit for this.

from the womb and tryout to get back

I've had both and now using Sony in my opinion its better than both all my pics are taken on it and you don't have updates every five minutes battery life is better than both as well

For ease of use I’d go apple everytime...none expandable memory and battery life are the biggest drawbacks

"Huawei. I'd never go back to Samsung now."

My oh says this, he loves his. I'm not persuaded yet because they don't have a standard charger, that's also partly why I didn't like iPhone

Neither, Sony Xperia.

If those are your only choices though, Samsung. IPhones are a farce. The battery life is laughable

I get that people have preferences. But a farce?

Had an iPhone since the 3GS, upgrading every three years or so, and on the X now, which I’m perfectly happy with. But it’s really down to personal preference. It’s probably fair to say that all the well known, higher end phones are pretty great these days.

The cameras that have been taking all the photos in the Shot on iPhone campaign are shit?

What the hell is it with Apple, and people’s utter, over the top hysteria?

Someone else mentioned not buying Apple on principle. Given that Apple probably give more of crap than most about things like privacy and the environment, what principle?

I have the p20 lite. I love it.

Great battery and the camera is brilliant.

My last phone was also a Huawei. Had it 3 years and my son had it for 2 years before that. Never any issues with it

The Samsung/Android has excellent battery life but I really prefer my IPhone for ease of use and design functionality

I've had a Huawei Honor for years. Still going strong so not changed it but will go for a Pro P20 next.

I have 256gb storage so holds all my music no problem and it's dual sim so separate numbers for personal and work, it has a great camera so not bothered to change it but fancy the P20.

Never had a problem with it and it has a standard charger.

On another note, I haven't had an upgrade for 15 years. I buy my phones then call (I have one sim on BT and one on EE) the provider and negotiate. Currently paying £12 per month on EE for unlimited calls and texts and 20gb of data. 12 month contract.

Can't remember the BT deal but I think it's 3 sims for £20.00 with unlimited calls and texts with 10gb on each.

Never understood why people get a phone and a two year contract, you're just paying for the phone on top. If you're happy with your phone, as soon as your contract is up, call them an renegotiate but don't take a new phone, you'll cut the monthly cost in half.

Agree, had mine for a couple of months after iPhone 6s it's great to have a decent battery again, and the cost of the handset, no brainer for me.
