I like a soft Welsh or Geordie accent. Not so keen on Bristolian, although it does remind me of The Vicar of Dibley, so still brings a smile to my face..

Just been speaking to a cockney Londoner for about 2 hours. He has a nice accent!

My favourite type of accent is a military accent. It’s kind of posh but it’s quite a distinctive one, can’t really tell where the person originates from.

even though i’m from Liverpool, i have to agree, hate the accent, Northern Scouse accent is the worst though, back in the 60 the scouse accent had a nice charm to it, bloody awful now though.

I do like the cornish accent though.

I don't like daggernam type accents. I let scousers off for just being lazy.

As a northern person I often feel like pulling out a dictionary and making the southerners learn English.

Southerners are selectively ignorant of correct English.

"H" pohoneticly is pronounced "ache" (Oxford dictionary)

There are a few other examples. The estury types pretend to be from London people are annoying because in my experience they mock Lancashire accent.

I lived in Cheshire for a few years (spent most of my week there)

It's a really wierd culture of calling people "duck" I was honestly confused by. First time someone called me "duck" I didn't know if it was an insult.

I am familiar with Lancashire and Yorkshire but I feel disorientated in flat places like Cheshire. Everything is built on hills in Yorkshire and Lancashire. All the towns circling Manchester and Leeds are built on small hills. If I go to flat places it doesn't feel right and I don't feel as safe.
