Just wondering how many of you fabulous Fabbers would say you are a sex addict?

I had a chat with a lady on here and she said she most certainly was and asked if I was. My answer was ‘not an addict but I do enjoy sex a lot’

Then I recalled the alcoholic test which is put a drink in front of an alcoholic and asked them if they can refrain from drinking it. Notw put a sexy naked woman or a handsome naked man (if that’s your thing) in front of you and ask yourself could you abstain? Probably not if I am honest.

What’s your thoughts?

Is the naked person in front of you willing and able?

I wouldn't say that is really how you'd say you were a sex addict personally. It would have to have an adverse effect on the rest of your life.

‘Put a sexy naked woman in front of you’? What? It’s not just about giving a piece of meat a f**k! It’s about chemistry and spark!

I think that is the pertinent bit. The disruption it causes to your thoughts or life, not just getting lots of it.

More a hobby than an addiction I would say as there are more important things in life if you really think about it.

I am.

Used to go to meetings then eventually went on anti-depressants that help with OCD and PTSD, the meds helped a lot tbh.

Now i'm feeling like i want to use sex to cope again so the meds seem to have stopped working in that department.

I organise all aspects of my life around sex. I used to think I was a sex addict but no, I just love pleasure and life is short.

I dated a sex addict recently. It was an emotional rollercoaster and was far more than just a large appetite for sex. It was complex and actually devistating. It's left him incapable of emotion.

I hope he continues to get the help he needs.
