"That’s why I’m retiring at 55 to enjoy it while I can. My legs are going to give up one day so I want to see the world before I have to do it sitting down. " I’m there now at 57 I can’t walk on a normal day more than 1/2 a mile then I’m in agony. As for the person who thinks work hard and retire early. I have worked hard all my life, manager at 29 in charge of 2.5 million £ of stock, purchasing, planning, stores of a company turning over £1,000,0000 a month I still have to work up to retirement age to make ends meet. Illness recently has in some way financially helped as a critical illness policy paid out. .. But it’s a fucking hard way to pay most of your mortgage off | |||
