Yes I am bitter but read on.....

First remember that you are destined to be together. It’s a shame he’s married but that is just bad luck and has nothing to do with why you want him. Like that time you chose blonde barbie over brunette barbie but then your friend chose brunette barbie and suddenly you realised you wanted that? Just bad luck

Second reassure yourself that his wife doesn’t understand him it’s a marriage of convenience he was never really in love with her.

Remind yourself also that it is ok to have sex with him as his wife won’t I mean she might not want to have sex because he’s a complete prick to her but hey if she refuses to have sex with him ever night he has every right to get it elsewhere and she cannot blame you

Third he will absolutely leave her and walk of into the sunset with you

Now of course he’ll loose his kids at least for a while when he runs off with you. And yes he’ll miss them but your love will be enough to compensate. He may cry for the first few months he might get depressed for not seeing his kids but that will pass in a year or three.

And of course eventually his kids will visit and you will be a big happy family the kids won’t hate you for breaking up the family they new and loved They won’t resent you for making their mum sad

His ex will hate you but that shouldn’t effect your perfect life I mean you will not have to see her I mean sure she will be I. Your life forever but it won’t effect you much except for birthday parties school events medical emergency weddings.

Remember there will be a lot of pressure on you to compensate for the fact that your partner left his wife for you. Every time you have a fight every time he feels low or misses the kids he may look at you and think what the hell has he done but you can cope with that. You will make his sacrifice worthwhile. Your life will heal all.

Finally you will never be able to forget your partner was cheating on his wife to be with you. You will never be able to fully relax because you know that if he can do it once he will do it again you know he can lie you know he can manipulate you know !!!!!

I think its the belief that there's such a thing as "true love" that's half of the problem.

You meet someone, you get on with them, have great sex initially, but after a while it gets less passionate and a bit samey.

That's the inevitable trajectory of any relationship. But people start thinking they can't have "true love" and maybe their "true love" is out there somewhere...

I know a few people who have stayed in an unhappy marriage for the sake of the kids, or finances, or convenience ... but when the opportunity of finding new happiness with someone else came along, they took it & it’s been the right thing to do in their circumstances.

Equally, there are blokes (& women) out there who will lie & cheat and feel no remorse whatsoever.

It’s not a ‘one size fits all’ situation.

I’m sorry that, whatever end of the situation you found yourself in, you got hurt

Unfortunately not everyone marries the right person the first time round, sometimes things don’t work out and sometimes married people go about finding a new love in completely the wrong way, sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn’t.

For the record that’s not how doughnut and I got together but I can talk from experience of those around me, I’m sure some people that have met through an affair has lasted the course, which I’m not condoning their behaviours at all but it happens unfortunately.

Were you open to that though? I think it depends on what kind of person you are, what you’re looking for and the mindset. I know that I won’t fall in love and want to “be” with someone. I don’t want that. I have too much going on in real life and I neither want that or have time for it. I have a few friends on here that I love to bits and care a lot for but I still wouldn’t want a proper relationship. I’m quite strong minded though and wouldn’t let it happen as I have my priorities all set out as such.

My ex cheated on me twice, leaving our 13 year marriage for a girl 15 younger than me! It shattered my world.

But! One of my dearest friends sent me a text and she put

“Every time you’re hurting remember this- when the mistress becomes the wife, it leaves a vacancy”

Since we divorced I’ve remarried to the best man I ever could’ve met and my life has done a 360 for the better.

But still there in the back of my mind I’m waiting for karma to to be dealt, as my ex has cheated on EVERY single partner no matter how short or long a time he was with them

men again eh ?? like there's no cheating women on here ?? lol ... trouble is we are in a day and age where people tend to give up very easy on their marriage and think the grass is greener on the other side rather than put the effort into there relationship...a marriage is and should never be easy it needs to be worked at from both side's.

I’ve given up on 2 shit marriages and this time round I’m finally happy . And it is easy , it’s not hard work , and we are both very happy without having to try at it .

First remember that you are destined to be together. It’s a shame he’s married but that is just bad luck and has nothing to do with why you want him. Like that time you chose blonde barbie over brunette barbie but then your friend chose brunette barbie and suddenly you realised you wanted that? Just bad luck

Second reassure yourself that his wife doesn’t understand him it’s a marriage of convenience he was never really in love with her.

Remind yourself also that it is ok to have sex with him as his wife won’t I mean she might not want to have sex because he’s a complete prick to her but hey if she refuses to have sex with him ever night he has every right to get it elsewhere and she cannot blame you

Third he will absolutely leave her and walk of into the sunset with you

Now of course he’ll loose his kids at least for a while when he runs off with you. And yes he’ll miss them but your love will be enough to compensate. He may cry for the first few months he might get depressed for not seeing his kids but that will pass in a year or three.

And of course eventually his kids will visit and you will be a big happy family the kids won’t hate you for breaking up the family they new and loved They won’t resent you for making their mum sad

His ex will hate you but that shouldn’t effect your perfect life I mean you will not have to see her I mean sure she will be I. Your life forever but it won’t effect you much except for birthday parties school events medical emergency weddings.

Remember there will be a lot of pressure on you to compensate for the fact that your partner left his wife for you. Every time you have a fight every time he feels low or misses the kids he may look at you and think what the hell has he done but you can cope with that. You will make his sacrifice worthwhile. Your life will heal all.

Finally you will never be able to forget your partner was cheating on his wife to be with you. You will never be able to fully relax because you know that if he can do it once he will do it again you know he can lie you know he can manipulate you know !!!!!

But of course he won’t this time it’s different!!!!!!

I don't meet anyone I know is attached,my choice ,but I don't abuse or have a go at married men or women on here.Its nine of my business unless they make it mine ie by messaging and trying to persuade me to meet or hiding their marital status.

Just my opinion but if you meet a man or woman and know they are married,you know what you are getting into .

Yes they may be the poor done to hubby or wife ,or they may be spinning the same old lines out.

I choose to avoid them because it doesn't sit well with me ,hard done to or not.plus there are plenty of single guys on here.
