Belt and watch, couldn’t leave the house without either! I would feel naked. Don’t wear any kind of jewellery but don’t feel dressed properly without an appropriate belt shoes and watch to the outfit I’m wearing

Yes and i have different watches for different purposes. For example i have a professional diving watch for scuba diving, a dress watch for formal events, a rugged sporty outdoors watch etc.

With the new smart watches out, there will be more people who will start wearing watches i reckon. Much more convenient than a smartphone only. You dont need to charge a watch every night and some like automatics rely on your hand movement to charge

Occasionally

I have two work watches (although one needs repairing), 7-8 hand wounds and a similar number of automatics, a solar kinetic and about a dozen quartz for when i need a grab and go. I'll not get in to my collection of straps

My main problem is which one to wear a lot of the time, if i'm going out i'll spend longer choosing the watch than the clothing

For me a watch is essential.

I work in a shop and as is typical with most retailers there are no clocks in the store - they want to keep the customers there spending as long as possible. We are not allowed to have our mobile phones on the shop floor so I wear a watch so I know when it's time to go home

recall end of 1999 ;in usa a radio caller said "the world WILL end at midnight" A clever and funny dj said "is that central time or eastern seaboard time"? Caller slammed phone down . brill.

I didnt till I got a fitness tracker with notifications, and I loved it. It broke but will get a new one eventually.

I consider checking a phone while talking to people rude, I think checking a wristwatch can send a sign that you have other things to do, but essentially isnt as rude.

I generally wear a Fitbit.

Dressed up on an evening out it doesn’t necessarily go with the outfit so will either wear a watch or go bare.

Quite a few say they feel naked without one. I feel liberated since mobile phones with the time on came along.

I do have a couple of gifted watches and every now and again I hear the alarm going off on it from inside a drawer.

Only wear one if I've got trains or buses to catch went out without it the other week thought I'd got time for a quick pint found out the clock in the pub was wrong on seeing my train leave as I got to the top of the stairs

Yes I wear a smart watch as we are not supposed to use our phones in work therefore I can monitor messages without actually getting my phone out.

I have always worn a watch cause I was a runner and would feel unbalanced without one on my wrist even now.

hubby has several but for him easy to get as he's got an apartment in Switzerland and 16min drive to Rolex and others in Biel to the factory shops. Half price retail and more models, he wears one every day.

Rarely, but today actually yes. My 1st Generation LG G Watch. Its not fancy but in smartwatches im struggling to see a good case to upgrade. Other than QI Wireless charging. The charging dock for this thing is horrid.
