Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I challenge you to take up something for Lent.

Instead of giving up things and feeling punished, enrich your life by taking up something and noticing what you naturally give up to make room for the new thing.

Lent starts on Ash Wednesday.

I recently took up knitting again.

I sacrificed my fingers and no arm pain.

"I'm taking up sex, any ladies want to help, hurr hurr"

You might need to take up a better line of patter.

You also get the joy of getting new stationery. Send me your info and I'll post you one of the lovely notebooks I bought at the weekend.

If you want to gain (knit) socks do a web search for winwick mum. She has step by step patterns on her blog with photos and instructional videos on YouTube.

Happy knitting

I’ve started up walking again, 5k on the weekends and a minimum of 20 mins during the working week.

I was toying with the idea of making it a daily occurrence, maybe this could be Lent challenge...

There is a 10,000 steps a day Lent Challenge for one of the big national charities. I'll see if I can find it for you.

I've got a little massage that helps with stiffness. The stiffness goes away when I stop massaging.

Cancer Research - Walk All Over Cancer. It is supposed to be every day in March but I think you can re-purpose it for Lent.
