Anyone got an suggestions of an app or music that relaxes you and helps you to sleep. I’ve tried white noise but it’s not working so was hoping some music would help.

Try Calm. Has meditations and audio stories and other stuff to help with sleep. I’m fairly new to it but good so far. Have sweet dreams xx

"Zelda - Majora’s Mask theme "

There’s a two hour video on YouTube of all the music. So relaxing and wonderful, I fell asleep to it earlier

What about nature sounds, rain and thunder.

I listen to low level classical music to go to sleep, blocks environmental white noise.

I’ve tried all different sounds like waterfall, bird, crickets and rain and it doesn’t work.

Doing lots to relax before bedtime but still won’t work.

No, my insomnia is awful. It’s sort of fixed itself at the moment because I’m pregnant but I used to go days without sleep

Hefty Hideaway

Not music but podcasts work for me.

I like drifting off to sleep to the dulcet tones of my favourite podcasters. A firm favourite is Stephen Fry’s Great Leap Years. There are only 6 episodes but he does such a good job of lulling me to sleep that it took multiple listens to finish them.

Some people swear by ASMR, you can find on YouTube.

Gentle storms and rain work for me.

Check out mindfulness meditation, there are free resources online.

If problems persist, see your doctor.

The Harry Potter audio books are amazing because Stephen Fry read a set and his voice is brilliant. They help me too

Do you sleep with electricals in your room? Electrical emittents can disrupt sleep

London grammar ~ if you wait

Just put the whole album on from the beginning and let it play.

It works for me and I absolutely love the whole album anyway so even if it doesn’t help sleep I find It very relaxing.

I really like the sound of the Disney Piano stuff, I’m going to stream that.

For white it’s worth I find late night radio 4 to be really soothing. The shipping forecast, a book at bedtime and some of the world service stuff is so relaxing and the presenters have such mellifluous voices.

Tonight’s book at bedtime is being read by Don Warrington, he has a wonderful speaking voice.
