Mine’s 25-45! I’ve met guys over 45 before (usually because they’re fibbing in their profile) but it’s very rare I’d meet someone under 25! Most guys I meet are 30+! In the young I look for emotional maturity! If it’s not there - no handsome face or 6 pack is going to persuade me to shag them! X

Having met some people a lot younger and older than my theoretical age limits, I’d have to say that I don’t really judge people on their age any more.

How they are as a person is much more important and not much to do with the number of birthdays they’ve had - at 50 you can be fun like an irresponsible teenager and at 30 you could be settling into middle age with a cardigan to match

I have 25 on my profile but in reality I couldn't see myself meeting anyone under 35ish really.

Obviously age is just a number but if I looked into their face and they looked young it wouldn't do for me.

Id rather go older than me, and prob dont have an upper limit as long as I fancied them of course

Lower limit is 23 because I don't meet anyone younger than my eldest child, and I'm rarely attracted to guys over 36 so that's my upper limit (plus guys are often economical with the truth

The age of consent is to ensure those that are not fully matured aren't subjected to harm.

Beyond the age of consent (mid - late teens), age really is just a number.

But also, if I'm looking to date someone I'd like them to be no more than 3 years older than me and not sure about younger, depends how mentally mature they were.

My son's are aged 19 and nearly 21. So I couldn't meet your age or near to it.

The ones I met older than 25 to 30 have put me off. So it's over 30s only for me.

To be perfectly honest since i've done this the quality of my messages have improved. I do meet people younger than 30 but I just don't want messages from them and if I like the look of someone and their profile under that age I will message them.

We have age limits which are on my profile. We do sometimes meet guys outside this preference but only when we have actually met them socially already and get on well with them.

Most guys younger than our preference are generally to imature for our liking and guys older are to close to our parents ages ... both of which are offputting to us.

I was going to say the same actually and it's interesting that men and women are often very different in their response to these kind of questions.

I'm not suggesting for a second that I don't treat people as individuals and that I only stick to my age preferences. it's just obviously another way of filtering things out.

We have an 18 yr old ‘child’ and our rule is the people we meet have to be closer to our age than our children’s or parents ages.

Since being on here I've actually raised my lower age limit because of the lack of maturity really ... Just find it very unattractive. I find equal mentally stimulating conversation more attractive than a sense of entitlement and limited life experiences.

I’m not saying the girls are going out dressed as hookers, just once they put some lippy on and a nice outfit it’s sometimes difficult to determine their age.

And by shielding your child from all the badness in the world you risk raising a naive and potentially vulnerable teenager/young adult. Age appropriate knowledge can be powerful in helping them to protect themselves and become resilient adults.

It is definitely the person not the age but I do have a preference. 25-35 for me. Have gone younger and older when things are right. When you meet someone in a club you don’t know their age and it is about attraction and chemistry. For me there is also something a little naughty about being with a guy half my age and a confidence boost too! The older woman younger guy is definitely a thing for me.

We tend to take little notice of ages, it’s about the people rather than the age the claim to be on here x

For me 27-50 is my age limits set. Have blocked messages outside of this range. Won't go younger as I have a son in early 20s and it would just feel wrong. Older than 50 I am just not attracted. If I'm searching I may find the odd one but generally not. So upper not set in stone but lower is.
