"skyscanner"

This is what I’m thinking.

I’m looking at using emerates as I heard even economy is better than most.

Any other reasonable carriers?

It’s a long way and she has a hip, knee and shoulder problem.

Where in Australia are they ?

Return flights from Heathrow tomorrow showing from £629 to Melbourne (Royal Brunei) or £702 to Sydney (Emirates)

Royal Brunei are a 'dry' airline so if you like a drink on board, not for you

Once you've chosen the flights, there is also a website called seat guru which provides notes on in flight service and even gives the seating plans for planes, helping you choose the seats to avoid.

Look at Skyscanner & Kayak for ideas but look carefully at the connections they offer, sometimes that bargain deal isn’t so great with an 8 hour layover or more than 1 connection!

For comfort & good on board service fly with the likes of Qatar, Etihad, Emirates & Singapore Airlines..

Don’t forger to check passport validity, travel insurance & get a Visa (ETAS)

Bought the visa last night.

Travel insurance I’ll sort in a mo. Top tips ?

She’s going to Sidney.

Emerates flight seems to have an hour and a half at Dubai, so not so bad.

Thanks for all the input so far folks xx

Insure & Go or Sainsburys Travel are pretty competitive.

That’s a good connection time with Emirates.
