on the road to nowhere in particular

Conquering myself / Until I see another hurdle approaching / Say we can, say we will / Not just another drop in the ocean

Hull

Am I the happy loss

Will I still recoil

When the skin is lost

Am I the worthy cross

Will I still be soiled

When the dirt is off

Love the Bunnies

"Love them, been to see them live loads of times. "

I’ve only seen them twice with about 35 years in between. I do intend to see them again though. I used to be besotted with Mac

Walking down the only road I've ever known!

Saw them way back in 82/83

Sedgefield

Just had them on half an hour ago, a bit of playing along with the guitar a Saturday afternoon

"Saw them way back in 82/83 "

I think that’s when I first saw them at York Race Course with a load of other bands. Might have been 81 though - it was a long time ago

She floats like a swan

Grace on the water

Lips like sugar

Lips like sugar

Just when you think you've caught her

She glides across the water

She calls for you tonight

To share this moonlight

Only seen them live once. I recommend the Live In Liverpool DVD.

on the road to nowhere in particular

In starlit nights I saw you

So cruelly you kissed me

Your lips a magic world

Your sky all hung with jewels

The killing moon

Will come too soon

McCulloch is superb

Jimmy Brown

Made of stone

Charlie Clown

Lost his way home

Bring on the dancing horses

Headless and all alone

Shiver and say the words

Of every ghost you've heard

First I'm gonna make it

Then I'm gonna break it

'Til it falls apart

Hating all the faking

Shaking while I'm breaking

My brittle heart

Billy stands

All alone

Sinking sand

Skin and bone

Bring on the headless horses

Wherever they may roam

Shiver and say the words

Of every ghost you've heard

First I'm gonna make it

Then I'm gonna break it

'Til it falls apart

Hating all the faking

Shaking while I'm breaking

My brittle heart

Brittle heart

Jimmy Brown

Made of stone

Charlie Clown

Lost his way home

Shiver and say the words

Of every lie you've heard

First I'm gonna make it

Then I'm gonna break it

'Til it falls apart

Hating all the faking

Shaking while I'm breaking

My brittle heart

Brittle heart

Jimmy Brown

Made of stone

Sinking sand

Skin and bone

Bring on the new messiah

Wherever he may roam

First I'm gonna break it

Then I'm gonna make him

Find his own way home

Superb band. So many great tunes but I think "Over The Wall" might just be my fave track - or in a party environment, "The Back Of Love"

Maidstone

Their cover of ‘People Are Strange’ by The Doors, which features in ‘The Lost Boys’ is insane. They actually had Ray Manzarek perform with them too. Amazing.
