Somewhere In The Ether…

I’m presently revisiting the classic Italian horror output circa late 1970’s - early 1980’s.

Some highly enjoyable entries (if hugely derivative of Hollywood trends of the time).

Low budget, schlocky and badly dubbed but joyously gory and some, often featuring unusual cinematic techniques

Return of the Living Dead - the best Zombie movie

Evil Dead 1,2 & 3 then all three seasons of Ash V's Evil Dead (best done in one long sitting)

The Texas chainsaw massacre movie's are my favourite's because of their dark humour and they are the closest to the real Ed Gein story because he was a grave digger, made furniture, bowls, lamp shades, ect out of human body parts and flesh, made a woman's suit out of flesh and dress up as his mother and was a killer and cannibal

Meh, I wasn’t too impressed by it, try I Saw The Devil, utterly chilling, it try Train to Busan, top notch film

Hereditary was enjoyably creepy, Babadook is a bit of a mind fuck just because of the annoying child in it but enjoyable non the less

"The congering 2"

Conjuring 2 is a great film with some “peep trough the fingers” moments
