.

But not everyone can get them and it's the old thing, you never think it will happen to you.

Agree with the menthol crystals and vicks do a menthol stick that you can inhale

Birmingham

Covonia, they have a chesty cough mix which is a miracle worker. They also do menthol lozenges which are quite powerful.

On a side note, plenty of fluid preferably warm or hot to keep everything loose and easier to cough. I feel for you, took me a good 3 weeks to get rid of mine.

Must be different areas cause you get them from the doctors here.

Hot water, lemon, honey and ginger that's what I have been drinking and works a treat and steaming with vicks is good too.

flu injection is only for the elderly or if you have a heart condition, chest problems, diabetes etc and only then if the doc allows , you can get it in local chemist at a cost

All the doctors in our area are hopeless. One of their newest excuses is 'We can't refer you because the NHS has no funds.'

Steam inhalations with menthol, an oldie but a goody. Even a jug of it by your bedside at night helps.

Covonia for chesty coughs, tastes yuk but add it to warm water and drink it like that, does help.

O o O oo

I would go back to your docs, as it could well have turned into a chest infection...and they do give out antibiotics for that I think.
