Found an almost full tub of Vicks Vapour Rub in my kitchen drawer, which is a godsend as I've had a rubbish cough for the past three weeks.

Getting in touch with an 'ex' over Facebook, hopefully going to meet him and his new (pregnant!) wife in the next week or so. We never really fell out, we just lost touch though we still get on and I haven't seen him in almost three years. Life happens unfortunately.

Dinner with the family. It's always the best bit of my day when we're together.

The young people indulge us with their presence most evenings but we only get all of them a couple of times a week now. We chew the cud, laugh a lot, have interesting discussions and take the piss out of each other.

They'll be gone soon enough so now I treasure these meals.
