For any fans of this the park, what is your favourite ride there and why?

My favourite has to be Hex because of the spooky atmosphere and creepy ambience the ride brings when you first enter.

I haven't been for about 4 or 5 years I think. Possibly more. Oblivion was good fun, as was Saw. Another trip may be in order!

I haven't been to Alton Towers since I was little so it has to be the Apple Coaster. I can't do fast rides as they make me Ill. Can't even go on the whurlitzers.

Not been there for years!! I used to have an annual pass too.

For me I like oblivion, used to get such a buzz from that ride.

Northampton Somewhere

My first biggish fab social was at Alton Towers, it was a great day out. My favourite is Oblivion, when I lived in Loughborough I used to go fairly often.

I was lucky to go on the Corkscrew before it was dismantled and replaced with a new coaster at the time called Thirteen.

It was well attended but it was a huge pain to organise!

They snake the queue underneath a section of the track, so when the carriages pass overhead you hear the whole thing rattle and the ground vibrating. It's got a really old fashioned feel about it (runaway train ish). They've also handily positioned a snack kiosk further along the queue so you can pay £1 for a tub of Pringles 3 inches high.

If I'm lucky to go to AT later this year, I'll check out the rollercoasters I've not been on like Nemesis and Oblivion.
