Any locals give me the low down on places to eat, how to keep myself entertained of a night, places I should avoid?

You'll be spoilt for choice with good curry restaurants. I have a theory that the best places are the ones that have miss spelled English on the restaurant front.

There is a place up in Birmingham, Kings Heath called the Punjabi Dhaba where "we specialist in vegan". Went their on Saturday night they are so good.

For night fun, get into Leeds and the night life is fantastic. If it’s clubs you want, the swinging kind, then there are 2. Quest open on a day and night and Pandora’s only open on a night, but look them both up on line. Good luck
