I wanted to believe all the Aailah stuff was made up: before Micheal Jackson his name has been linked to teenage girls. I should hang my head in shame but I can't brink myself to delete him from my playlist.

its not a bad question.... since basically most of their childhood tv has had to be wiped one way or another.... what do we do with music?

It's a tricky one, I can't listen to MJ, and it's not just music. Should we not watch Roman Polanski or woody Allen films any more?

Been lucky in that no great scandal has hit any of my favourites although guys like Jimmy Page seem to have somehow got an easy ride for their past misdeeds.

I was secretly hoping Cliff Richard was guilty so we didn't have to listen to mistletoe and wine every fabbing year.

That's a tough one, he had some real good songs too. Check the YouTube comments on his songs if you want a laugh though

Two points.

1. He's been charged. Doesn't mean he's guilty.

2. I think it's quite possible to appreciate someone's music, writing or whatever, without endorsing their lifestyle.

You should watch the documentary....the evidence against him is pretty over whelming.

Can't see me shaking my booty happily away to Bump N Grind when I know the artist filmed himself having sex with and pissing on a 14yr old girl.

Just because the artist did bad things does not mean the art can’t be enjoyed for its own qualities.

It’s a shame so many think this way.

I think this is such an interesting subject. When you think of people like Gary Glitter, Rolf Harris or Jimmy Saville, they’ve been successfully airbrushed from history. Yet Bill Wyman carried on playing with the Rolling Stones for years and no one seems to care.

Can you separate an artists endeavours from their unsavoury deeds?

And how far would we go with this? Supposing someone found a wonder drug that cured cancer. He was later found guilty of sex offences. We wouldn’t stop using that drug.

If he's found guilty (he will I'm sure) and if the radio channels still play his music, I won't turn my radio off.

It doesn't mean I'm a fan, I just find it nostalgic as I used to, perhaps still like those songs.

The rumours been there for two decades I reckon.
