Heading across to see Henning When this evening at Harrogate. Hope he comes across as well on stage, as he does on TV.

Anybody seen him live?

No but I'd dearly love to.

I've liked him for years. He so subtle. So so subtle that if you aren't astute and awake you'd miss so much.

I think i'm odd because I find him fanciable even with his sweaty armpits and creased trousers.

Think I'll look up his tour.

Menston near Ilkley

I must admit I find his whit intoxicating. His delivery is so deadpan.

I don't fancy him though.

He bugs me, not funny at all, in fact annoying, but hope you enjoy it and have a good time

It's the slight delay in his witty responses that crease me up...we know what's coming but his delivery is impeccable.

Each to their own I guess. Jim Jefferies last year was the funniest I've seen live.

We Germans love to laugh but we laugh when the work is finished.

"Who knew ze germans had humour"

He’s the comedy ambassador for Germany.

Yes he’s brilliant, far to subtle for the people who like Michael McIntyre’s lowest common denominator humour for the masses.

Stewart Lee's delivery is so good and I love his utter derision of other "comedy" acts (mcintyre.....)

Will you let us all know what he's like?

I've seen several comedians live that we find funny on TV but were rubbish in person.

Yes, I've seen him live and if his show is like the last one you're in for a real treat. He did this thing where the audience could write down questions for him in the half-time break and he'd read and answer them in the second half - it really showed what a clever and quick-witted guy he is. Enjoy!

I went to see him recording a radio show years ago and he was excellent. Enjoy yourself.
