We are all on the lifestyle for different reasons and looking for different things, but when we started 6 or 7 years ago it was easy to meet other straight couples that were looking for same room full swap fun..... now it seems every couple is bi fem and gal on gal fun is a pre requisite... nothing wrong with that, just not what we are into. Just wondering why there are so few straight couples now???

Because they are ‘sheeple’ and believe it’s what the market wants to hear and hopefully leads to a quick shag. Changing sexuality to suit others’ requirements is quite bizarre. No doubt they tick all the boxes and have no objections on paper, welcoming every one but as soon as there’s a meet on the cards, there’ll be boundaries and limits by the bucket load lol.

We are a straight couple and been part of the swinging seen for over 15 years. The swinging scene has changed considerably.

We have noticed that it is now a prerequisite of couples for female playing.

We have nothing against sexual preference but there must be more people like us

I'm the one who struggles in person with women because I don't want to overstep boundaries of straight women

it's not your problem or fault. It's partly the fault of the individuals concerned and partly the fault of the current culture that promotes bisexuality in women as the ultimate turn on for men. It's down to double standards where consent is concerned.

I have no doubt that we wouldn't be here if Kirsty wasn't bi. It's difficult to embrace this side in polite society so that's what brought us here initially. Of course it has become much more than just exploring Kirstys bi side, but it's unsurprising that there are a lot of bi fem couples here as the very nature of the site facilitates exploration of this that is otherwise challenging to explore.

A fair bit of bi bashing going on here, fact is I’m genuely bi because I am and enjoy playing with other females, hubby isn’t a watcher and we are not doing it because it’s fashionable, trendy or any other ridiculous reason mentioned here, we’ve never got the “can play straight” so I don’t, as such we don’t meet straight couples or bi guys, we even are reluctant to meet bi curious ladies

We were constantly getting messages from other couples specifically asking for the mrs to join them for girl on girl action, mrs was well annoyed because it clearly states she is straight, and not even fab straight, proper straight, i changed my sexualality to bisexually so i could at least get recognised by the guys on here

It took me a long time to accept my sexuality, and with the support of Mr I’ve been able to, so I’m not hiding who I am anymore. BUT I don’t want to play with all women, I don’t fancy all women, so I am fine not doing anything sexual with other women.

It’s not for the entertainment of men that I’m bi, I simply like SOME women. Apologies for the highlighted words, but some people seem to assume that bi means you fancy anyone, and can’t meet anyone of their own sex without wanting to have them. It’s simply not true. I’m more attracted to men, but I’m attracted to the person first and foremost, not their gender. Just like straight people. Only very trusted friends know I’m bi, and I don’t hit on them, haha. I don’t force my sexuality on anyone, but I have had a few men trying to convince me that they can make me straight again!

Sorry, should have said maybe people like me are the reason. Women who’ve been made to feel ashamed and unnatural for how they feel- I’ve never had the courage to speak out as my family are homophobic, hide behind religion- so places like this give us a place of safety, to be ourselves without judgement xx

Very good points!! It's odd how many people assume that bisexual people fuck anyone who asks.

While we were having a lot of discussion before we took the final leap to join the swinging lifestyle we found a 'questionaire' on a website that had about 5 or 6 questions for you to fill in.....Why do you want to do this? What are you happy to do? Etc etc....then you answered the same questions but from your partners perspective. At this stage we weren't on fab, nor had we heard of it either but when we compared our answers one of the wifes answers was the she wanted to experience a lady & that she had wanted to since before we even got together. Thats why she's down on here as bi~curious, not to gain more interest, or because its the 'in thing'. Its because she wants to, the lifestyle means you don't have to hide the fact & you can be open & honest without prejudice. We have been together well over 20 years now & it was only last year i found out about this so yes, bi~curious ladies can play straight without any issues

Thank you all for your responses, all of which make sense, can we point out trout that we have nothing against bi women, or bi men for that matter, and we are not ‘bi bashing’, we just wondered why the ratios had changed so much since we started swinging six or seven years ago. Back then, it was roughly 50:50 between straight and bi fem couples, but now it seems more like 90% of couples are a bi fem couple....

You may not be “bi bashing” and personally I answered this because of giving a reason why there are more of us- we can be more open now, and hopefully accepted and not judged, but then there are some, who intentionally or not, made this thread take that line...

My sexuality and my choice of partner is not a prerequisite, a fad, I’m not a sheep claiming to be something to falsely draw people in- I’m a woman who is lucky enough to have a partner who accepts me- that includes the fact that I will not always play with another woman, and doesn’t want me to just so he can get his kicks, it’s no fun that way, and he cares about me having fun xx

As a couple with a bi-sexual female we have a different perspective on things. We started out as a straight couple but Mrs T quickly found that in the right situation with the right female she could get turned on and enjoy "girl on girl". That led us to change our profile to bi-sexual but it is not a prerequisite of meeting. In fact if another couple or female demand it as part of a meet then we turn them down. As with everything else on here it is all down to attraction and will either develop naturally or not at all.

I'm on here as bi-curious because that is what I currently feel I am! I have had a couple of experiences with ladies, but I still definitely prefer men! We would meet a straight couple as much as we would meet a bi-fem couple....however it wouldn't necessarily follow that I would have to play with the lady if that connection and spark wasn't there between us. I don't feel I'm following a trend, or doing it to please the men... I am literally just curious and Fab is the place to be curious and find out more surely?

We are here because we are both bi and want tok explore all sides of our sexuality. We won't meet straight people anymore as you really can tell who is actually bi and who is just going through the motions, so I do agree that there are folks out there who are just trying to please their partner by playing bi.
