"I need inspiration for lower carb/healthier option breakfasts. I seem to only have porridge with fruit or eggs and I don't like salmon. There must be other things to eat before 10 I can call breakfast, that aren't loaded with calories. " I swim every dinnertime so all I eat before 12 is a banana and some biscuits for energy | |||

But I really struggle to find something low carb other than eggy based foods for breakfast too, so I cheat and have an Atkins breakfast bar. High protein, low carb and 150 cals. " Not all carbs are bad, stick to complex carbs or green carbs which have a higher fiber content. | |||

" All carbs have to be controlled if you tend toward insulin resistance, the low amount in green carbs are fine but not complex carbs for many. | |||
