I need inspiration for lower carb/healthier option breakfasts.

I seem to only have porridge with fruit or eggs and I don't like salmon.

There must be other things to eat before 10 I can call breakfast, that aren't loaded with calories.

I swim every dinnertime so all I eat before 12 is a banana and some biscuits for energy

I could go with that, bit too much sugar though.

North Bucks

I’m living off porridge and pineapple for the next three months.

I could do with a change. May go back to smoothies for a while.

Could you just vary what you have with the porridge? I love porridge and it ticks loads of boxes for me: cheap, full of carbs, hot & healthy. I normally have raisins and chopped nuts stirred into mine.

ps Breakfast Club was such a great film, who did you identify with/ fancy?

Outcast Allison, her character was the nearest for me to identify with but also for fancying, much preferred her to Claire

None of the male characters fitted my school identity, it was Gary and Wyatt from weird science who I identified more so with

Porridge with mixed berries, Manuka honey and mixed linseed, sunflower, pumpkin and chia seeds make 80% of my breakfasts. Bacon, egg and mushroom toasties for the other 20%

My Americano is low calorie. The almond croissant lets it down a bit though..

All these breakfast foods are heavily carb loaded, I couldn't take them either.

I did 16:8 for a while by missing breakfast, that solved a problem! But I really struggle to find something low carb other than eggy based foods for breakfast too, so I cheat and have an Atkins breakfast bar. High protein, low carb and 150 cals.

Yogurt and fruit. If your feeling fishy you can try kippers.

Not all carbs are bad, stick to complex carbs or green carbs which have a higher fiber content.

All carbs have to be controlled if you tend toward insulin resistance, the low amount in green carbs are fine but not complex carbs for many.
