Its purely a personal choice and also to do with if you have body dysmorphia or are to far along the feminine gender spectrum to be able keep the penis and still accept your body.

Another consideration is how complicated the procedure is and that some do loose sensitivity in thier sexual parts post op.... Not a nice thought.
